Historically, of course, students and faculty have interacted informally on campus and off — in a grocery-store checkout line or at adjacent tables in a restaurant. But social-networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram have introduced another, different space that contributes to a blurring of boundaries between professional and personal personas," says Marshall.
